PAT Launches Capture Software for Podcasts

Premier Assistive Technology released Premier Presentation Capture software as a component of its Premier VideoCast Studio. The software is designed for recording classroom lectures and make them available as video and audio podcasts.

Premier Presentation Capture is designed for capturing classroom presentations and is compatible with various display technologies and interactive whiteboards. It captures both screen activity and audio and allows instructors to create video libraries of their materials.

As a part of the Premier VideoCast Studio, Premier Presentation Capture also comes with Premier VideoCast Software for converting documents to multimedia files for handheld devices and VPod Video Converter for batch converting video files for Premier's Key to Access VPod, a portable, USB-based media player.

Through Dec. 31, Premier VideoCast Studio will sell for $99.95, after which it will sell for $199.95. Premier Assistive's VPod sells for $424.95 and includes a bundled copy of Premier VideoCast Studio. VideoCast Studio runs on Windows XP and Vista.
