MIR3 Adds Recorded Response Feature to Mass Notification Service

has added a new notification feature to its family of inEnterprise solutions. Recorded Response allows emergency managers to notify their target recipients of events as well as collect responses in their recorded voices in addition to traditional response options. This feature now allows the collection of more exact and situation-specific detail.
Campuses that use a MIR3 emergency notification platform will be able to dispatch help and address situations based on detailed responses such as building locations and situation specifics.
MIR3's notification capabilities are also used for routine, high-volume messaging and all-purpose broadcasting, such as administrative notices to employees, messages for coordinating staffing, and weather updates. The inEnterprise systems allow for two-way text messaging, provide real-time reports detailing recipient responses, with an integrated incident management module.
"Universities are learning that multiple options in responding to a notification are extremely important," said Ken Dixon, executive VP. "Schools and businesses across the country have begun--at a very rapid rate--to realize an urgent notification system is a must-have tool. MIR3 clients include Connecticut Community Colleges
, which recently awarded MIR3 a contract to serve as the emergency notification platform for its 12 college campuses, as well as the University of California, San Diego
and Kean University
in New Jersey.
