InFocus Debuts Large-Venue Education Projector

InFocus this week debuted its new IN5108, a projector designed for education. The new LCD model offers an SXGA+ resolution and provides high light output for use in large venues. It will be available this month.

The IN5108 offers a resolution of 1,400 x 1,050, a brightness of 4,000 lumens (3,200 lumens in economy mode), and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. It features a native 4:3 aspect ratio but also supports 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios.

Other features include:

  • HD input support through 1080p;
  • Manual lens shift;
  • Vertical keystone correction ±40 degrees; and
  • Horizontal keystone correction ±20 degrees.

Video inputs include HDMI, BNC, component, 15-pin VGA, S-video, and composite video. Audio output includes a stereo minijack.

The InFocus IN5108 is available this month for $5,499. It includes a two-year warranty. Further information can be found here.
