iCloud Expands Collaborative Service with File Sharing

Swedish developer Xcerion is expanding its iCloud collaborative computing service with the addition of file sharing and new community features.

iCloud is an online service that provides free storage, backups, and applications, along with a virtual desktop, accessible via the Internet. It's based on Xcerion's Internet Operating System/3 (XIOS/3). It includes 3 GB of storage space and 50 free applications and widgets, including word processing, mail, music, video, instant messaging, games, collaboration, and development tools. It runs on Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.

The latest update adds file sharing capabilities, support for publishing files up to 150 MB, and contact imports.

iCloud also recently announced expanded language support, including Danish, Dutch, French, Italian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, and Romanian.
