ImageNow 6.4 Improves Workflow, Adds eForms for External Users

Perceptive Software has released an update to ImageNow, the company's enterprise document management system targeted toward educational institutions. The new ImageNow 6.4 adds several new features, including external forms, customized routing, and improvements to workflow.

ImageNow is a document management, imaging, and workflow software suite that's in use at about 900 campuses worldwide, according to Perceptive Software. The new version 6.4, includes the following enhancements:

  • Electronic (HTML) forms that are integrated with ImageNow's workflow and support external users who are not normally covered by the ImageNow license;
  • New customizable workflow views that are designed to be easy to create and administer;
  • Routing and alarms for when employees are out of the office; and
  • ImageNow Interact for Xerox that supports any EIP-enabled Xerox multi-function device.

ImageNow 6.4 is available in both hosted and on-premises configurations. Downloads and further information can be found on the ImageNow customer portal.
