U Arizona Launches Online Campus with 21 Undergrad Programs

The University of Arizona has opened registration for 21 undergraduate programs in its new online campus, UA Online.

"As the land-grant university for the state of Arizona, it is our responsibility to expand educational access for all Arizona citizens," said Vincent J. Del Casino Jr., vice provost of Digital Learning and Student Engagement, in a prepared statement. "The new UA Online undergraduate programs achieve this goal, and so much more, with innovations that enhance engagement for online students."

Joining more than 40 online graduate degrees and certificates, undergraduate programs launching in the fall will include:

  • A bachelor of arts in e-society, focused on digital information and data science;
  • A bachelor of applied science in informatics;
  • A bachelor of science in sustainable built environments;
  • A bachelor of science in care, health and society; and
  • Bachelors of applied science in human services and early childhood education, among others.

"We are thrilled that students everywhere now have access to a life-changing University of Arizona education," added Del Casino. "Enrolling in a UA Online degree program not only positions future graduates for a rewarding career, it also provides an engaging student experience that fosters a sense of community and Wildcat pride for life."
