MaxCases Intros Extreme Shell Protective Cases

MaxCases, a maker of protective cases and accessories for mobile devices in education, has launched a new line of cases for Chromebooks, laptops and tablets.

According to a release from the company, the new MAX Extreme Shell cases feature two layers of drop protection. The first layer provides a skin of thermoplastic polyurethane designed to absorb shocks to the edges and corners of the device, and the second layer is a co-molded polycarbonite-enclosed shell. 

Key features of the MAX Extreme Shell cases include the following:

  • A built-in asset tag window;
  • pop-up feet for inclined typing angles;
  • shock-absorbing materials to protect the device from accidental drops and dings;
  • a lightweight and slim form factor; and
  • black or gray color options.

According to information on the company's website, the new MAX Extreme Shell cases are available for numerous models of Chromebook, as well as the MacBook Air, HP Revolve and Dell Venue 11.

The MAX Extreme Shell cases are available now with prices ranging from $39.95 to $79.95.
