EBSCO Debuts Platform for College, Career Prep

EBSCO has launched PrepStep, a new online platform designed to help students prepare for college and careers.

"PrepStep is a unique collection of academic and career-related resources that offers skill-building in reading, writing, math, science, basic computing and workforce skills, as well as preparation for high-stakes exams like high school equivalency, college admissions and placement and occupational licensing," according to a news release.

The platform is available in two versions — one for two-year colleges and technical schools and another for four-year colleges and universities — with a third version for high schools yet to be released.

Developed by LearningExpress, PrepStep features practice tests, interactive tutorials, e-books and personal e-portfolios available any time through an Internet-connected device. The platform's tools are designed for use in self-directed study, supplemental and soft skill building and by students in need of remediation.
