Promethean Bundles New Display Boards With Learning Software

Promethean has introduced a new line of interactive displays that come with a software package that allows teachers to use learning materials without the need to connect to a computer.

This new generation of the ActivPanel offers a choice of full HD and 4K Ultra HD displays. The HD displays have three options that range in size from 55 to 75 inches while the 4K displays also are available in three sizes, from 65 to 84 inches. The displays can be mounted in a fixed position or on a mobile stand that can be moved from place to place within and between classrooms.

Each ActivPanel also ships with a digital pen that allows teachers and students to write, annotate and hover over the screen, in addition to the typical touch screen commands. Finally, there is a variety of connectivity options, including HDMI, VGA, USB 3.0 and OPS.

Each display panel comes with the Modern Classroom suite of products that includes a new external Android device that teachers can use to deliver content directly to the interactive display board. ClassFlow is an interactive lesson delivery system that provides interactive and collaborative use of classroom devices, digital curriculum and assessments for learning. ClassFlow Desktop is an app for Windows and Mac OS that allows teachers to instantly turn anything displayed on a desktop into interactive lesson content on the ActivPanel.

"We've succeeded in addressing these whilst at the same time designing an upgradeable solution which will protect the investment schools make in the ActivPanel displays."
