Bretford Unveils Modular Charge and Sync Carts

Bretford has launched a new charging and storage cart, the CoreX, for mobile devices and another line, featuring the new "MiX Module System," for MacBooks and iPads.

The new carts designed specifically for Apple products include the Mobility MiX, PureCharge MiX and PowerSync MiX. The MiX Module System at the center of the design for the carts features customizable, removable and adjustable modules that can be replaced or modified to accommodate new devices in the future. The module system also provides support for mixed device deployments, allowing for the use of modules that include AC power for MacBooks and modules that feature USB charge and sync capabilities for iPads. In North America MiX Module carts are only available to Apple for Education customers.

The CoreX is available in two- and three-shelf versions, capable of storing and charging 20-24 devices or 30-36 devices, respectively. It features flexible slot dividers that are adjustable to create slots from 1.25 inches wide to 1.5 inches wide. Lockable and constructed of steel to ensure security, the CoreX features directional locking casters and offset locks to provide easy mobility and to protect walls and door frames.
