"We are seeing great success with our Flex Choice option and believe strongly in self-paced, competency-based education as a way to make college more affordable, get skilled employees in the workforce faster and help fill jobs in high demand," said Matt Petz, vice president of academic affairs at Rasmussen College, in a prepared statement. "We launched Flex Choice last spring with the Business Management Associate's Degree program knowing there would be demand to open the option to students outside of the School of Business. We are thrilled to roll out Flex Choice in fast-growing, highly employable fields."
