Grayson College Picks New Enterprise Resource Planning System

Grayson College in Denison, TX, has selected a new enterprise resource planning software in an effort to improve academic success for its 5,000 students and provide more accountability in its financial systems.

The community college in North Texas, which offers associate's degrees and certificates in more than 60 areas of study, picked St. Louis-based Three Rivers Systems' CAMS Enterprise system.

Grayson College President Jeremy McMillen said the new system would allow the college to improve every facet of its academic management system — from admissions, registration and billing to financial aid, student services, fundraising, human resources and payroll.

"It will help us automate manual processes in our continuing education and foundation areas so that we can be more effective in our workforce development and fundraising efforts, in particular," McMillen said. "Its integration with the financial accounting system will enable us to be good stewards of our resources."

Amir Tajkarimi, founder and president of Three Rivers Systems, said the selection of his company's software is a reflection of the college's interest in the wellbeing of its students.

"It's clear that everybody at Grayson College is passionate about helping its students to succeed and to support the North Texas community," Tajkarimi said. "We're proud to play a role in its future success."
