SoftwareOne Debuts New Tech and Services Portal for Academic Institutions

Portfolio management provider SoftwareOne has launched the SoftwareOne Academic Portal 2.0, an updated version of its software, services and platforms portal for education institutions and non-profits.

Available in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French and Japanese, features of the portal include:

  • Any-time access for students to software;
  • Around the clock support for students;
  • Resources for instructors to improve courses with supplemental tools;
  • Tools for IT managers, including cloud and on-premises offerings, managed solutions and IT support; and
  • The ability for procurement officers to manage software assets from one place.

"In today's digital world, technology services are critical for students' success; software has become an integral part of their education," said Florian Schultz, global education lead at SoftwareOne, in a news release. "Our updated SoftwareOne Academic portal offers the richness of today's ed technology to students, educators and staff. We've created a place to access the tools they need on a platform educational institutions can trust, and can run without adding any additional support resources. SoftwareOne is constantly adding the newest education technology to the portal, making it available to the education world."
