Valdosta State Tapping into Real-Time Data to Support Student Success
Valdosta State University is furthering its student-centered and data-informed approach to student success with a new partnership with Civitas Learning.
The company's platform will provide individualized student advising profiles as well as institution-wide insights on student success trends, helping the institution identify challenges and provide resources to students all the way from enrollment to graduation. Student data will be embedded in a collaborative workflow, so that advisers can provide coordinated, efficient and effective support.
"During this global pandemic, we know our students are facing unprecedented challenges both in and out of the classroom. It is our job to encourage them and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment so they stay on their path to graduation," said Rodney Carr, vice president for student success at Valdosta State, in a statement. "Civitas Learning's platform will help our teams do just that. We can use real-time data to meet the needs of our students and ensure they get the support they need, when they need it."
