zSpace Unveils Expanded CTE and Workforce Applications from Four Companies

Augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) tech company zSpace demonstrated expanded career and technical education (CTE) and workforce applications at the recent ACTE Careertech Vision Conference in Phoenix. The company said it "seamlessly integrated" applications from four companies into its Inspire AR/VR laptop.

The software can be installed on Windows PCs. The glasses-free program allows users to reach in with a stylus and extract an object to move, dissect, blow up, or change variables of it within the environment, the company said.

The four new immersive, interactive, and practical integrations include:

  • Biodigital's biological visualization software to explore the human body in minute detail, illustrating medical and biological concepts;
  • Certification Partners' data science and AI training modules to supplement zSpace's courses, exams, and certifications and bridging AI with data science with solutions to multiple business applications;
  • Systran's gas/oil industry process technology simulations; and
  • Labtech's Renewable Energy Fundamentals technology simulations, which include wind and solar power sustainability.

"Our collaboration with these industry leaders signifies a significant step forward in our mission to prepare students and professionals for the demands of the modern workforce," said Michael Carbenia, zSpace's senior executive director of workforce.

zSpace has been used in over 3,700 school districts, technical centers, community colleges and universities, the company said.
