1EdTech Partners with DXtera to Support Ed Tech Interoperability

1EdTech Consortium and DXtera Institute have announced a partnership aimed at improving access to learning data in postsecondary and higher education. The two nonprofit organizations plan to align 1EdTech's Edu-API and DXtera's CampusAPI solutions, which enable interoperability between ed tech systems to ease access, improve security, and enhance effectiveness, according to a news announcement.

"This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our mission as a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to building open source solutions to create a more interconnected and effective education ecosystem," said Dale Allen, Ph.D., president and co-founder at DXtera Institute, in a statement. "Combining the solutions and talents from our community with the leadership, community, and expertise of 1EdTech has the potential to significantly improve the opportunities for education organizations and learners to have greater functionality and control over the use of their data."

"This partnership is one more example of 1EdTech's mission to reduce complexity, accelerate innovation, and expand possibilities for learners," commented 1EdTech CEO Curtiss Barnes. "By working with other organizations, like DXtera, that share our vision, we move even closer to fully realizing a united ed tech ecosystem that works better for everyone."
