Events: FCPUG at NAB

The Los Angeles Final Cut pro User Group (FCPUG) will host the sixth-annual FCPUG Network SuperMeet at this year's convention of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Las Vegas.

The NAB convention is the major event in video editing, motion graphics, and broadcast and draws crowds of both professional and education users. The FCPUG network is an association of FCPUGs from around the world. According to LAFCPUG founder Michael Horton, the agenda for the upcoming meeting is secret but will include "new product demos" and "show and tells." Take that to mean what you will.

This year's SuperMeet will be held at the Venetian Hotel's Palazzo Ballroom April 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets run $15 per person.
