GTG Releases Secure Disc Standalone

Global Technologies Group has released SecureDisc Standalone, a utility for encrypting the contents of CD and DVD media.

SecureDisc is a tool that alows users to encrypt content on CDs and DVDs through a drag and drop interface, requiring a password and SecureDisc decryption software to access. (The decryption software is available at no additional charge.) The software does not require specialized media to operate and can run on standard disc burners.

Some of the features include:
  • Encrypts ISO-9660 and UDF images automatically;
  • AES 256-bit encryption; and
  • Able to write non-encrypted discs as well.
SecureDisc Standalone is available now for Windows operating systems for $249.
