U West Streamlines Administrative Systems

The University of the West in Rosemead, CA is upgrading its administrative systems in order to grow enrollment and and fulfill new accreditation requirements. The upgrades include CampusVue Collegiate and CampusNet, two enterprise solutions from Campus Management in Boca Raton, FL.

According to the university, it's replacing its old systems with CampusVue Collegiate in order to automate and integrate operations across the campus.

"Campus Management's technology and proven solution for Higher Education delivers the fully integrated system we require to meet accreditation reporting requirements and uphold policy and procedures," said Silvio Cantillo, assistant director of IT at University of the West. "Campus Management's solution will allow us provide students and faculty with on demand real-time information, supports our enrollment growth strategies, and helps us better manage our institution."

The university is also deploying Campus Management's CampusNet, a hosting service for the CampusVue administrative solution. In addition, University of the West is adopting CampusPortal, a self-ervice solution for students, faculty, and staff, and CampusVantage, a modular system for handling human resources and financials.
