HU Leverages CRM To Smooth Interactions with Recruits, Students
Virginia's Hampton University (HU) will deploy technology from higher education customer relationship management (CRM) vendor Intelliworks to streamline communications with prospective and current students.
Using single records, the system will let the university track and correspond with students throughout their relationship with the university--from recruit to alumni, according to Teresa Donnell Walker, assistant provost for technology, Hampton University.
HU, which provides liberal arts, technical, pre-professional, professional and graduate degree programs, communicates with a wide variety of students. It has a census of approximately 5,700 students who hail from as many as 49 states and 35 nations and territories. The Intelliworks CRM system is intended to smooth communications workflow and slash the need for interactions on paper with such a diverse a student body and recruitment marketplace.
