Bryan U Adopts Cloud-Based LMS

Bryan University has announced plans to implement a new cloud-based learning management system (LMS) with the intent of enhancing the student experience.

The university operates three campuses and one flight academy, in addition to a number of online degree programs that serve students from across the country. The university chose to implement LoudCloud Learning Ecosystems LMS from LoudCloud Systems because of the platform's flexibility and technological capabilities. According to LoudCloud, its Learning Ecosystem LMS is an intelligent and adaptive solution with the ability to create personal learning and teaching environments for every user.

"Adding the capabilities of LoudCloud's Learning Ecosystem will enable Bryan University to better serve their students, both those who attend classes virtually and those who attend on any of their campuses," said Eric Evans, chief operating officer of Bryan University, in a prepared statement. "Bryan's student-centric system focuses on learning styles, reinforcement loops, and dashboard feedback enhancing the student experience, and LoudCloud's LMS will enhance our system for our students."

LoudCloud Learning Ecosystems is a modular system that offers a gradebook, discussion forum, adaptive learning, and predictive analytics, as well as other modules. It's "capable of capturing and analyzing hundreds of data points in order to deliver a personalized learning experience," said Manoj Kutty, CEO of LoudCloud Systems, in a prepared statement. Schools can use it to help identify, target, and assist at-risk students; support educators with tools to manage classroom projects; and manage instructor and student performance, according to information released by the company.

YTI Career Institute in York, Pennsylvania has also signed on with LoudCloud to implement the Learning Ecosystem LMS to assist with its first online learning venture. After reviewing more than half a dozen LMS option, YTI chose LoudCloud because of the company's flexibility and willingness to work as a partner to help the institute achieve its online learning goals, according to a prepared statement from Andrew Hipple, director of information technology for YTI Institute.

"The flexibility of the platform to work with our current SIS (CampusVue) allowing YTI to 'modernize' the faculty portal for grades and attendance will be a major crowd pleaser for our faculty," added Hipple.

LoudCloud will demonstrating its Learning Ecosystem at the annual EDUCAUSE conference in Denver in November.

Further information about LoudCloud Learning Ecosystem is available on the LoudCloud site.
