U Wisconsin-Madison Rolls Out Event Management Solution
University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) has adopted NCR's Venue Manager in a move to boost efficiency of concessions and in-suite catering operations at its sporting events. The university will roll out the solution next month at four of its athletic facilities.
Venue Manager comes with point-of-sale (POS) hardware and software to support back office operations, credit card processing, and "ticket, suite, premium, and retail sales," according to a statement from NCR. The company will also provide application hosting for the university.
More than 100 POS terminals will be installed at UW-Madison's Camp Randall, Kohl Center, UW Field House, and LaBahn Arena.
