U Miami Integratrates Recruitment with Cloud Based CRM

The University of Miami has adopted a new constituent relationship management (CRM) solution in an effort to integrate recruitment systems and improve communication.

Previously, different schools within the university were using different systems that they had bought themselves, such as Intelliworks and SugarCRM, or built with Access or Excel databases.

The university chose to deploy Enrollment Rx, a cloud-based CRM built on the Salesforce.com platform, "for its flexibility and ease of integration with other systems," according to a company news release.

"Enrollment Rx offers us a level of sophistication that meets not only our current needs, but also what we want to do in the future," said Scott Ingold, ERP functional lead at the University of Miami, in a prepared statement. "By bringing everything together in a single enterprise solution, Enrollment Rx will allow us to effectively report the success of our efforts, improve our colleagues' work/life experience, and transform how we communicate."

Serving more than 15,000 students, the University of Miami is a private research institution with 12 schools and colleges spread across five campuses in Miami-Dade County. More information is available at miami.edu.
