NYU-Poly Training Booz Allen Hamilton Employees on Cyber Security

Booz Allen Hamilton is sending its employees to Polytechnic Institute of New York University to earn master's degrees and certificates in high tech fields. The company has joined the "enterprise learning arm" of NYU-Poly to provide access to online courses in bioinformatics; cyber security; organizational behavior; and computer, electrical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering.

ManTech International, which provides contract staff for national security and technology work, has also joined the program. People from both companies will attend courses available globally in NYU ePoly Online Graduate Program, in cohorts with employees from other corporate partners, including AT&T, Goldman Sachs, SAIC, and Northrop Grumman.

NYU-Poly has introduced a virtual laboratory, VITAL, which allows students to perform hands-on experiments to reinforce concepts delivered during the online lectures. Online students also participate in synchronous and asynchronous discussions through chat, texting, forums, and other media.

"We are delighted to welcome Booz Allen and ManTech," said Robert Ubell, vice president of the Enterprise Learning program. "Top personnel will undoubtedly emerge at the forefront of fields essential for company growth, as well as advancing their own careers."
