Seminole State Extends 'Single-Call' Agreement to Provide Student Services
Seminole
State College of Florida has decided to extend the
contract it has with Greenwood
Hall, which provides the 32,000-student college
in Sanford, FL, with specialized counselors and a technology platform
for a
number of student services.
The platform, which combines both staff and
technology,
provides resources for students and their parents to help with financial
aid,
admissions, registration and other enrollment-related issues. The
platform was
customized for Seminole State so that prospective and current students
and
their parents can communicate with dedicated counselors by phone or
online
regarding a number of school-related and finance-related issues.
Greenwood
Hall's
"single-call" resolution process is intended to answer most of the
questions and needs of current and prospective students with one phone
call.
Seminole State has 198 academic programs, five
bachelor's
degrees and a number of different scholarship and tuition options.
"Leveraging Greenwood Hall's technology platform and
specialized counselors to handle inquires with a single call, Seminole
State
staff are able to focus on mission-critical services and student needs,"
said
Greenwood Hall CEO John Hall.
"Seminole State is successful because we take a
student-centered approach
to education," said Pamela Mennechey, assistant vice president of
recruitment
and enrollment at the college. "This allows us to focus on providing a
high-quality education that prepares students for success."
It is the most recent in a spurt of contracts that
Greenwood
Hall, which supplies education management services, has signed or
re-signed in
the first few weeks of the year. Besides the contract extension with
Seminole
State College, the company has also extended its agreement with the
University
of Mississippi. Greenwood Hall has added as new clients Tennessee Temple
University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Florence-Darlington
Technical College.
