LG Intros CreateBoard, New Ed Tech Solutions

LGBusiness Solutions introduced its newest product, CreateBoard, along with other ed tech gear, and announced expanded training programs through its LG Academy at the 2023 Future of Education Technology Conference in New Orleans. The academy includes a new course on using the CreateBoard, which will be followed by more comprehensive courses.

The CreateBoard comes in four sizes, with the new 55-inch model added to the lineup of 65-, 75-, and 86-inch models. The new model CreateBoard is an "up-to 40-point multi-touch interactive display that enables live annotations of digital files and provides tools for content creation, sharing and management," the company said in a release. The 55-inch model is geared for smaller classrooms and allows students to see the board wherever they are sitting.

Two software programs accompany the board. The LG CreateBoard Lab creates content, imports documents, builds lessons, and includes subject templates that allow collaboration and access to online information and interactive lessons. The wireless LG CreateBoard Share connects student devices to the board, free of software updates or installations. Multiple wireless connections also allow students to stream to different boards. Document cameras, microphones, conferencing cameras, and other peripherals can be added to expand the board's capabilities.
