Canva Introduces Accounts for Higher Education with Canva for Campus

Online graphic design company Canva has expanded its offerings to include higher education with the launch of Canva for Campus. The new paid subscription for colleges and universities is designed to give everyone on campus, from administrators to teachers, staff, and students, the ability to use its design tools and collaborate on projects, assignments, and more.

Canva for Education currently gives free accounts for teachers and students at eligible K–12 schools to create lesson plans, infographics, posters, and videos, as well as work on group projects. Canva also offers Canva Pro, with Brand Kit, Premium Templates, Magic Resize, 100+ million stock photos, videos, and audio files. Canva for Teams features LMS integrations and work and assignment sharing, using thousands of free educational templates. All of this is available to Canva for Campus users.

Colleges and universities can start with a Canva Teams license for staff to get started with the Visual Worksuite. When they reach a certain number of licenses based on student population, the account converts to Canva for Campus, which provides free access to all students and includes all the elements available to Pro and Teams accounts. More information is available on the pricing page.

Canva will hold a free virtual Canva Create event on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 9 a.m. PDT. The event recording will also be available on demand. Visit the registration page to sign up.

Canva was launched in Australia in 2013 and quickly became a global design and communications resource used in 190 countries by over 100 million monthly users. To learn more about the company, visit its About page.
