Territorium Introduces AI-Powered System to Track Skills and Competencies from K–12 to Career

Territorium LifeJourney

Global ed tech provider Territorium has launched LifeJourney, a suite of AI-powered tools for users to keep track of education, job skills, and career readiness capabilities. With the LifeJourney toolkit's comprehensive individual records all in one place, students can provide quick and easily accessible information to prospective employers, according to the company. The suite of tools keeps track of progress and achievements from K–12 through higher education and career readiness.

LifeJourney encompasses Territorium's two-pronged approach to comprehensive record-keeping:

1) The 1EdTech-certified Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR), which includes:

  • E-Proficiency Profile (EPP), official ETS (Educational Testing Service) outcomes assessments and individual assessments of core skills to demonstrate student learning;
  • HEIghten, five core skill assessment modules for success in school and employment; and
  •, remote proctoring test monitoring and intensive identity verification tools.

2) Career Bit, mobile technology that gives students real-time data to create a personal path to career readiness.

"The academic transcript and résumé have largely been the most accepted keys for social mobility and economic opportunity, but they fail to provide a complete and verified record of a person's holistic competencies and skills," said Jonell Sanchez, chief growth officer for Territorium. "Our LifeJourney toolkit empowers institutions and enables all students, especially the nearly 40 million adults with some or no college degree, to demonstrate their complete capabilities in a verified digital record, including the skills they have acquired from all of their experiences."

On its website, Territorium says it is certified by 1EdTech and has supported more than 11 million users worldwide. The company serves Fortune 100 companies, education service providers, technology organizations, education ministries and systems, K–12 schools and districts, postsecondary institutions, and workforce providers.
