Panasonic Intros Plasma Bundles for Education

Panasonic's Professional Display unit has launched two new plasma display bundles designed for classroom presentation. The bundles include one of two 10-series plasma displays and a cart with an optional 802.11 b/g wireless presentation module.

The bundles include either the TH-50PH10UK 50-inch display or the TH-58PH10UK 58-inch display. Both of the plasmas in the bundles come with three interchangeable slots for optional connectivity options, including computers, DVD players, and VCRs. The cart included in the bundles allows the displays to be moved from class to class, adjust tilt and viewing angle, and hide cables with an integrated cable management system.

The optional wireless module allows users to connect to up to eight plasma displays or connect up to up to 16 computers to a single display.

The TH-58PH10UK 58-inch display runs $4,295 with cart and wireless card, $3,295 without the wireless addon. The TH-50PH10UK 50-inch display runs $3,395 with cart and card, $3,050 without the card.
