Colorado State U-Global Campus Turns to Peak for Cloud Portals

Colorado State University-Global Campus, an online institution part of the Colorado State University System, has selected cloud infrastructure from Peak to power its student and faculty portals.

CSU-Global offers bachelor's degree completion and master's degree programs for working adults. Serving more than 10,000 students and faculty, the university's cloud portals support online applications such as class registration and tuition payment systems. The institution is also using the Peak platform for its production, development and staging environments.

"At CSU-Global, our IT model is based on the allocation of resources, and with Peak's flexible pricing structure we are able to assign CPU, storage and memory to make our infrastructure very cost-effective," said Mike Prudhomme, VP of technology at the university, in a press release.

Peak offers 11 cloud nodes across 8 geographies. The company's Peak to Peak Direct Connect capability allows clients to migrate to the cloud from any location via private layer 2 connections from any location, data center or cloud environment.
