International students worldwide with Mastercard now have the option to save on cross-border tuition payments.

Today through the end of September, international students in 11 countries who are attending any universities or colleges worldwide can take advantage of a deal to secure the lowest cost credit card payment option available through Flywire. The deal applies to students in the United States, Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Malaysia, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Flywire international payment solutions are used by customers at 1,300 organizations across 18 countries, according to information from the Boston company. Flywire boasts significantly lower exchange rates that are convenient, fast and secure for customers. In addition, the company offers end-to-end customer support, such as multilingual servicing via phone, e-mail and chat, as well as 24/7 online payment tracking.

For higher education institutions, Flywire's platform can eliminate manual work and automate the reconciling process for international tuition payments made with credit cards — which typically takes university staff usually spend 11.5 hours each week to complete.
