Liaison International Integration Adds Predictive Analytics to CRM Platform

Liaison International, provider of technology and services for recruitment, admissions, enrollment and student success, has introduced a new integration that combine its Othot predictive and prescriptive analytics tools with its TargetX constituent relationship management platform. The integration is part of Liaison's Total Enrollment solution announced in October, an effort to marry disparate student success tools, eliminate siloes and optimize workflows across the student lifecycle.

TargetX CRM users will now be able to access Othot's suite of analytics, predictive models and data visualization tools to inform student support, financial aid and more. For example, the tools allow users to fine-tune financial aid packages for individual students in order to maximize their impact, forecast a student's likelihood of retention, and boost student persistence, according to a news announcement. The combination of CRM with predictive modeling also can provide "a greater degree of insight into the barriers to enrollment and completion facing prospective and current students, enabling institutions to address issues of affordability, equity and completion," the announcement noted.

"This is a complex and challenging time for higher education. Reliable predictive and prescriptive insights can chart the path to overcoming oft-hidden barriers that students face — barriers to degree completion and student success," said Andy Hannah, president and co-founder of Othot, a Liaison company, in a statement. "The same tools used to guide and communicate with students during their journeys can provide us with rich, predictive insights to inform a more targeted approach to student outreach, support and financial aid."
