Luidia Releases eBeam Interact 2.1 for Interactive Whiteboards

Luidia has released a new version its eBeam software for use with classroom-based interactive projection environments. eBeam Interact 2.1 offers both new and upgraded features, including enhanced screen recording and a comprehensive online image gallery, as well as the company's Scrapbook Image Writer feature.

With eBeam, users can record their desktop actions and capture audio tracks using the computer's microphone. The clips can be used for immediate playback, or saved in various video formats for future use.

The Scrapbook Image Writer gives users the ability to import images into Scrapbook--the company's live content sharing platform--through any desktop application with print capability. Additionally, online gallery access gives teachers the ability to import a wide range of additional visual assets into their Scrapbook.

The new software is available now for Mac OS X and WIndows. Further information, including download links and tutorials, can be found here.
