Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges has licensed the
Angel Learning Management Suite (LMS) to deliver online courses available through WashingtonOnline (WAOL). The board consists of 34 schools that serve 450,000 students annually.
WashingtonOnline provides a platform for colleges to share course content, open textbooks, and online course enrollments so students enrolled in one college can take online classes offered by another. Colleges can also use the WAOL platform to support their own online, hybrid, and Web-enhanced classrooms, build ePortfolios, and collaborate through online Webinars.
"We are thrilled about our new partnership with Angel Learning," said Cable Green, eLearning director for the organization. "Their Learning and ePortfolio systems allow us to provide online learning spaces where students and faculty can share ideas and learn together."
WAOL also provides 24/7 technical support and professional development for faculty and staff using Angel teaching and learning tools.
Angel's flagship products are the Angel Learning Management Suite and the Angel ePortfolio system.
