Podcast: Leading IT Through Economic Crisis on the American Campus

With colleges and universities struggling to minimize the effects of the troubled economy, it certainly isn't an easy time to be a CIO. Recently, Campus Technology sat down with a panel of higher education IT leaders to pick their brains about best practices for steering IT through economic crisis. Panelists included Jan Biros, associate vice president for instructional technology support and campus outreach at Drexel University (PA); Wayne Brown, vice president for information technology at Excelsior College (NY); Kamran Khan, vice provost for IT at Rice University (TX); Rick Peterson, chief technology officer at Washington and Lee University (VA); and Adrian Sannier, vice president and university technology officer at Arizona State University.

This podcast is a companion to a feature article that appeared in the October 2009 print edition of Campus Technology magazine. That article, "IT Leadership Roundtable: Steady as She Goes," can be accessed here.
