Health College Moves Student Management Online

Allied Health Institute has adopted an online application to manage its student information. The Institute, an accredited school that offers online degree programs in health careers, will be moving the data from two unnamed student information systems to TopSchool's Student Lifecycle Management System. TopSchool includes multiple software-as-a-service modules to manage admissions, enrollment, academics, financials, and placement activities.

"As our programs continue to grow, we are dealing with more and more important student data. Neither of our cumbersome systems had the capability to support our needs, plus we were spending far too much time entering data twice," said Jennifer Anglin, president of the Institute. "TopSchool takes a completely different approach--the system is intuitive and easy to use, and because it centrally manages data across the entire student lifecycle, it will allow us to increase our operational efficiencies."

She said the Florida-based institution was also impressed by the reporting capabilities of the software. "The system automatically pulls the reports we need, giving us better insight into our students, programs, and results so we can more effectively grow and meet student needs."

The new implementation will enable the school to automate several administrative processes. For example, it will generate forms, print and send invoices, and allow students to pay online.
