Hobsons Partnership Brings Campus Video Tours to Student Recruitment

Hobsons, a provider of recruitment, communication, and student success solutions for colleges and universities, has entered into a partnership with college video tour network YOUniversityTV.

Announced at the conference of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) in Denver, CO, the partnership aims to make it easier for prospective students to find information about life on various campuses and to help university admissions and recruitment personnel find students who are suited to their educational institution.

YOUniversityTV is social network for prospective college and university students. Users can view YOUniversityTV-created campus tour videos that provide behind-the-scenes information about universities and colleges across the country. In addition to the professional YOUniversityTV video tours, students can upload their own videos to provide prospective students with a more authentic, unfiltered view of life at the various schools.

Hobsons helps students develop personalized academic and career plans based on their goals, interests, abilities, and learning styles. With the integration of YOUniversityTV's digital media with Hobsons, students will have access to day-in-the-life video content and will be able to access complementary information. Trackable links will provide administrators with information to help them plan future programs. Hobsons said this partnership will facilitate connections and communication between educational institutions and prospective students.

Further information about Hobsons and YOUniversityTV is available on the organization's sites.
