New Insight 360 Provides Immediate Access to Assessments

eInstruction has released a new version of Insight 360, integrating the platform with a range of mobile technologies intended to give classroom teachers more immediate access to formative and summative assessments.

The updated software works with existing technology infrastructure including student response pads, iPads and other tablets, and other mobile devices. It was beta tested in 20 classrooms around the United States, from kindergarten to post-secondary.

Schools at various stages of technology implementation were selected to participate in the beta, ranging from those just introducing devices in the classroom to schools with existing BYOD and 1:1 programs. According to eInstruction, testers noted ease of use and greater interactivity as benefits of the newest version.

"Assessments that used to take me hours to complete are done in minutes," commented John Keelin, a Kindergarten teacher at E.G. Ross Elementary in Albuquerque, NM, in a prepared statement. "The data is instantly available on my Mobi 360 allowing me to teach in the moment―something I have never been able to do in my 11 years of teaching."

Insight 360 comes bundled with ExamView Learning Series, the company's assessment content that is aligned with state and Common Core State Standards, including a question bank of more than 15,000 assessment instruments aligned with more than 10,000 textbook titles.

Additional details about Insight 360 can be found on eInstruction's site.
