Rasmussen Offers Tech-Centric Analytics Services to Colleges
Rasmussen, parent company of Rasmussen College, has launched Collegis Education, a technology-based services company that will offer institutions strategies designed to "improve student outcomes, attract and retain new students, as well as manage operating expenses," according to a company release.
Collegis Education's initial service offerings will hinge on technology-driven analytics, according to the release, and will include student analytics and insights, enrollment growth marketing, student support services, digital content and curriculum development, and a virtual career center.
"We identified some of the most complex operational issues education institutions are facing today and combined technology, data, and more than 40 years of higher education experience to create solutions," said President of Collegis Education J. Michael Locke, in a release. "The time is right to make those solutions available to other education institutions and the model works for all kinds of schools, public, private, for-profit, and not-for-profit."
The solutions offered by the company have been developed through their use by Rasmussen College and Deltak, a former Rasmussen Inc. organization.
Collegis Education claims in a release that via its technology and data services, Rasmussen College has saved more than $7.5 million in annual revenue through analytics-driven retention improvements and increased new student enrollment by eight percent over the previous year, while the college's marketing spend has been cut by eight percent.
"Learning institutions must use technology to change how they operate if they want to compete effectively in this new world," said Collegis Education Board of Directors Chairman Robert King, in a release. "I have never seen a market go through such dynamic changes as the higher education industry is experiencing today."
