Rapid Insight Launches Analytics for Community Colleges

Rapid Insight, a provider of predictive analytics and data intelligence software, today launched QuickStart, an analytics solution for community colleges.

The software, which runs against Ellucian's Banner student information system, provides real-time institutional metrics via PC, tablet or smartphone. Dashboards are designed for every level of a community college system, delivered automatically to everyone from presidents and trustees to faculty and staff. Key performance indicators include enrollment YTD compared to previous YTD, credit hours sold, program-specific metrics and more.

The QuickStart dashboards and analyses can also be customized based on the specific needs of a college. Users can run ad hoc analyses, build predictive models and create their own reports. The dashboards are built utilizing Rapid Insight tools, designed to connect and integrate data from a variety of sources, including student information systems, spreadsheets and text files, as well as external sources such as the National Student Clearinghouse.
