LoudCloud Systems has updated its competency-based education (CBE) platform, Fastrak, with an simplified user experience, improved course authoring and "paths" for students and teachers, among other enhancements.

The new path feature is designed around CBE to improve access for both teachers and students to content, resources, assessments and grades and the user interface has been redesigned for simpler navigation to improve ease of use.

The company has also expanded learning tools interoperability (LTI) self-enablement to allow integration with any LTI-compliant app, whether it's from LoudCloud's app store or not.
