Viewed from the president’s office, today’s competitive higher education environment suggests the inevitability of institutional change and the necessity to make difficult choices. This year’s Presidents Institute will address that imperative. Some sessions will explore the subtle implications of the major forces that are shaping our world, from demographic shifts to globalization to technological developments.
