Adobe’s release of its Production Studio, an extension of the Adobe Creative Suite, delivers a complete post-production solution that includes Adobe After Effects 7.0, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe Audition 2.0, Adobe Encore 2.0, Adobe Photoshop CS2, and Adobe Illustrator CS2. Revamped Notebook Line

Gateway has refreshed its notebook line to include new models that feature the new Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology platform. The new line, which includes the Gateway M465-E model, is thin and lightweight (7.7 pounds with a 17-inch widescreen display), has a long battery life, and comes with advanced data, theft, and Internet security. It includes the Intel Core Duo processor, allowing the platform to do more in less time. More specifically, the Gateway M465-E (as pictured) can be scaled to specific users’ needs, which can help keep the cost down, say Gateway spokespeople. Prices start at $1,399.

Portable Document Camera

Provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology AVerMedia Technologies Inc. has announced the release of the AVerVision300p portable document camera. Not only d'es the product include standard document camera functionality, but it is also equipped with a three-megapixel-resolution portable document camera, an 8X digital zoom, and has a shooting speed of up to 24 frames per second. Image capture capability is incorporated in the camera, and it can store up to 80 images directly to the internal memory card or to a PC via USB. This portable document camera is available at $999 MSRP.
