Ellucian Intros 'Experience' Platform

Ellucian has introduced a new "user experience platform" that pulls campus information and applications into one streamlined dashboard. The cloud-based Ellucian Experience provides single sign-on access to campus resources in one place, simplifying everyday tasks and access to essential information, according to the company.

Ellucian Experience integrates with both Ellucian and non-Ellucian solutions, using individual "cards" to display an assortment of content and real-time data. Each user receives a personalized dashboard of cards tailored to their needs and preferences. For example, a student can use the dashboard to view classes, grades and schedules, connect with advisers, check their financial aid status and more. The platform can also be used to make announcements that can be disseminated campuswide or targeted to specific user categories (such as faculty or staff).

Additional applications can be added to the dashboard via the Experience software development kit, which offers a growing number of Ellucian and partner apps as well as no- and low-code development for new cards and processes.
