Online University Boosts Local Economy

AIU Online, the distance education component of American InterContinental University, is bucking the unemployment trend by adding jobs to the local economy. The commercial university system, which operates 78 campuses in the U.S., Europe, and the United Arab Emirates, has hired and trained over 500 residents and 100 adjunct faculties in the Chicago area since Jan. of this year.
