Live Help Initiative Expanded for Higher Ed

Software on demand provider Velaro is ramping up its Academic Live Help Initiative by making its services available to the higher ed community as a whole. The company currently provides live help services to a number of universities.

Velaro provides live chat and live help services in support of admissions, library services, and other functions. It also includes features called "co-browsing" that allows advisors and students to navigate a website together in order to help students find and fill out forms and take care of other admissions-related processes. It's also used to help enrolled students with technical issues.

At present, the technology is used by Northern Arizona University, Appalachian State University, Central Michigan University, Duke University, and several others.
