Broadcast Pix Intros MultiScreen Support

New multi-screen technology from Broadcast Pix, unveiled this week at InfoComm 2012, allows studios to broadcast programs to three displays—at one time—and manage the content from a single system control panel.

PowerAux enables 1 M/E Granite and Mica Video Control Centers to produce up to three image magnification (I-MAG) screens, simultaneously, while maintaining one frame of constant delay for continual lip sync, for each, throughout the program. Additional system outputs also remain in sync, regardless of content displayed.

Studios can use PowerAux to create any combination of I-MAG screens, Internet streams, and live television productions. Each PowerAux output—which can be controlled using a Soft Panel, iPad app, or another physical control panel—can switch between any camera, clip, graphic, and program, plus add up to six keys on top. All outputs can be managed from the system's central control panel.

PowerAux is a free download available in Beta now, and will be available for all Granite and Mica customers with the release of Video Control Center 3.1 software in July. Additional information can be found at Broadcast Pix Web site.
