Hobsons, Regent Education Partner To Enhance Enrollment Experience

Hobsons and Regent Education have formed a strategic partnership to align Regent's Student Needs Application Platform (SNAP) and Regent 8 with Hobsons' enrollment services solutions for online and non-traditional students.

The integration is intended to enhance prospective students' enrollment experience by adding a real-time financial plan to the Hobsons enrollment process, allowing them to more clearly understand the cost of the education they are considering. This includes an estimate of student loan payments upon graduation.

The partnership will also enable prospective students to complete the financial aid process online and create a personalized plan.

"In order for schools to better manage online and non-traditional learning environments, they need to move away from the traditional standard academic year and embrace a more flexible learner-based model," said Maurice Shoe, president of Hobsons, in a release. "Online and non-traditional students need the flexibility to learn at their own pace. As we partner with schools, we encourage them to consider Regent's financial aid management solution, Regent 8, to help them better manage the challenges this new paradigm presents."

On the heels of the partnership agreement, the two companies turned their immediate attention to Mid-America Christian University (MACU), where Hobsons will provide strategic enrollment and student service management functions alongside a full implementation of Regent's SNAP solution and Regent 8.
