Hillsborough Community College Streamlines Purchases with E-Procurement

Florida's Hillsborough Community College has adopted a new e-procurement solution in an effort "to streamline and leverage its procurement process," according to a news release about the move.

The school, with more than 42,000 students spread across six campuses, chose easyPurchase from ESM Solutions. The tool, delivered via a software-as-a-service model, will allow an unlimited number of users to shop and order from multiple vendors through a single interface.

Other features of easyPurchase include:

  • Supplier management;
  • Hosted and punchout contracted catalogs;
  • Support for credit cards and purchase orders;
  • Enterprise resource planning integration;
  • Invoice management;
  • Management for electronic forms;
  • Textbook management; and
  • Access via iPad or Android tablets.

"We are excited to work with Hillsborough Community College," said Dan Corazzi, CEO of ESM Solutions, in a prepared statement. "The college can now create, edit and approve requisitions anywhere, anytime using our SaaS-based solution, making both desktop purchasing and procurement on the go fast and easy."
