Ivy Tech Community College Expands Online Opportunities To Boost Enrollment

Ivy Tech Corporate College has launched a program designed to boost enrollment and provide students with access to an enhanced body of online not-for credit courses.

Under the agreement, Cengage Learning will supply Ivy Tech with technology, program, and marketing support to increase online enrollment, and provide opportunities for students to access a broad range of online courses through its online ed2go learning division.

Through the Premier Partners Program, Ivy Tech will have access to curriculum and courseware, instructors, training programs, and an administrative platform to expand enrollment. Ivy Tech students will have anytime access Cengage Learning's full ed2go catalog of online non-credit courses.

"We look forward to benefiting from Cengage Learning's world class educational assets and the team of instructional designers and technology experts to continue to identify further course and program needs as we move forward in the partnership," said Jeff Pittman, Ivy Tech's vice president of corporate college online education, information technology, and entrepreneurial outreach, in a prepared statement. "We plan together to create a catalog of customized courses and e-learning solutions for Ivy Tech's entire student population."

Part of Ivy Tech Community College, Ivy Tech Corporate College offers workforce training to businesses, industry organizations, and individuals through online courses in professional development.
